EQUIPMENT

The Napolitano Digital Studio provides a state or the arts graphics and multimedia developers environment. It includes 14 (student) + 1 (teacher's station) G5 2Gigahz dual procesor Macintosh Apple computers with 2 Gb of RAM, 400 Gb harddrives and Invidea GForce4 Titanium 256 Mb VRam video cards.

Each machine is equipped with the following peripherals: 22" LCD Cinema display - DVD-CD-ROM Super Drives - Epson 9x12" flat bed scanner. A 35mm Nikon LS 2000 slide and negative scanner is connected to the teacher's station. This latter station is connected to a data video projector for class demonstrations.

All the machines are networked with a T 10-100 megabits Ethernet connection Additional equipment includes: 3xHi 8 videocameras 4xdigital8 videocameras 2xfluid head video tripods Currently the following software is loaded in the Napolitano lab:

IMAGE - Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter.

MULTIMEDIA - Final Cut, Adobe After Effects, Macromedia Director.

SOUND - Sound Studio, .
