After class order some DVD disks so that next class you can save and back up all your work. Remember that the maximum amount of space you can use on the lab computers is 5 Gig. You will soon realize that you will need more memory to work. After every assignment back up your work and free up space on the computers.

In this class you will learn to calibrate a monitor and output your work for print. Class # 7 (Mon.Sept.22) Darkroom workshop and printing your images. Class # 8 (Wed.Sept.24) First critique! Due: first assignment (Photoshop digital imaging).Introduction to the second assignment (Panorama). Class # 9 (Mon.Sept. 29) Panorama digital workshop. Screening of "Hockney Photographer". Class # 10 (Wed.Oct.1) Panorama digital workshop and different techniques to shoot a panorama image. Class # 11 (Mon.Oct.6) Digital workshop. Class # 12 (Wed.Oct.8) Printing workshop and outputting your panaroma imaage to the Epson 9600 printer. Class # 13 (Wed.Oct.15) Second critique! Due: second assignment (Panorama). Introduction to the third assignment (Black and white images). Class # 14 (Mon.Oct.20) Digital workshop. Techniques for converting color images to black and white.
